Grouped from general to technical: working with us, products and specification, and commercial and quality topics.
What does Bottking manufacture?
We manufacture plastic cosmetic and skincare packaging: PET, PP, HDPE and acrylic bottles and jars, airless bottles and jars, plastic tubes, pumps, droppers, sprayers and closures. Stock moulds are available for fast launches, and we develop custom moulds for proprietary shapes.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
Stock mould formats start at 1,000 pcs per design. Orders with decoration (printing, coating, hot stamping) usually start at 3,000 pcs because of set-up and registration efficiency. Custom mould development generally starts at 10,000 pcs per size.
Can you supply samples before I order production quantities?
Yes. Stock samples of current moulds are supplied free of charge in quantities up to five pieces per SKU, with you covering the courier cost. Custom-decorated samples are quoted per project, typically USD 120–450 including decoration set-up.
How long does sampling take?
Stock mould samples ship in 5–10 working days. Custom colour mouldings and decorated samples take 10–20 working days depending on the finish. Custom mould tooling adds 25–40 calendar days before the first moulded sample.
How long does mass production take?
Production is normally 15–30 working days after sample approval, depending on format, decoration and quantity. Airless assemblies, multi-colour printing and soft-touch finishing sit at the longer end of that range.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide to the United States, Canada, the UK, Europe, Australia, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan, South Korea and Latin America. We quote FOB, CIF, DDP and air freight, and we can consolidate mixed formats into one shipment.
How do I get a quotation?
Send the request form on this site with the format, capacity, material, quantity, closure and decoration you need, or email info@bottking.com. Quotes are returned within one business day, including MOQ, unit price band, sampling time and lead time.
Can you sign an NDA before I share my design?
Yes. We sign mutual NDAs before receiving drawings, artwork or formulation context, and custom tooling is produced exclusively for your project.
Which materials are available for plastic skincare packaging?
PET, PP, HDPE, LDPE, acrylic (SAN/PMMA), PCR (post-consumer recycled) plastic and bio-based PE. Choice depends on formula compatibility, clarity requirement, wall thickness, decoration and end-of-life goals.
Can I customise colour, size, printing and finish?
Yes. Colour is matched to Pantone or to a physical sample (ΔE ≤ 1.5 in series), and you can specify capacity, wall thickness, printing method, hot stamping, coating, frosted or soft-touch finish, metal-look parts and custom closures.
Can you develop a custom mould?
Yes. We develop moulds for bottles, jars, airless constructions, tubes and closures. Typical tooling development is 25–40 days including DFM review, 3D-printed concept prototypes and first-article inspection.
Do you offer PCR and recycled plastic packaging?
Yes. We supply bottles, jars and closures in PCR resin with documented recycled content where the certificate is available for that grade, or in mono-material recyclable constructions. We quote the verified percentage rather than a generic eco claim.
What are your payment terms?
Production orders normally run 30% deposit with the balance against the bill of lading copy. Sample and trial orders are prepaid. Terms are stated in the quotation rather than negotiated per order.
Can you supply packaging that is compatible with our filling line?
Yes. Send the filling line details and the closure torque specification you use and we will confirm neck finishes, top-load requirements and whether airless filling (bottom-up or vacuum-assisted) is needed.
How do you handle defects found after delivery?
Send the lot number, defect description and photos. We check the retained sample and the lot inspection record, then agree replacement, credit or sorting in writing.
Do you offer design help for a first packaging project?
Yes. Send the formula viscosity, fill volume, quantity and positioning and we will recommend two or three formats with capacities, materials, closures and indicative price bands — no account or purchase order required.
What documents do you provide for supplier qualification?
Quality management documentation for the production site, material declarations for the resin grade, recycled-content certificates where the grade is certified, lot-level test reports, and support for third-party factory inspections.
Can you supply filled samples for stability testing?
We can supply packs for your own filling and testing, and we recommend a compatibility soak test: fill to production level, close at the specified torque, store 4–12 weeks at 40 °C, then check weight loss, deformation, colour and closure function.
Do you keep our artwork and colour standard on file?
Yes. Drawings, colour standards and retained decoration samples are held per project so repeat orders can be produced without re-approval, within the agreed colour tolerance.
Can you supply packaging for markets with specific recycling labelling rules?
We provide the material and design information needed to complete those labels — polymer type per component, mono-material status and decoration specification. Label wording and regulatory compliance remain with the brand.
