1. Who we are and what this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Bottking ("we", "us") handles personal information when you visit www.bottking.com, submit an enquiry, request a quotation or a sample, or correspond with our sales and technical team. It applies to business-to-business (B2B) contacts - typically packaging buyers, product developers and sourcing managers acting for a brand or a manufacturer. It does not apply to third-party websites we link to.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. Business contact details (name, company, position, business email, telephone or WhatsApp number, country and destination port) and the content of your enquiry: required format, capacity, material, closure, quantity, decoration, target launch date, and any drawing, artwork or specification you choose to send.

Information created during a project. Quotations, sample records, order confirmations, shipping and export documents, correspondence, and quality or claim records.

Technical information. IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL and access times recorded in standard server logs.

We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data, and we do not ask for your formulation or trade secrets. Please do not send a formula or confidential document unless a written confidentiality agreement is in place.

3. How we use information

• to answer enquiries and prepare quotations, price bands and specifications;
• to supply samples, drawings, documentation and compatibility advice;
• to process, produce, pack and ship orders and to prepare export documentation;
• to handle quality, claim and after-sales matters;
• to keep business, tax and export records required by law;
• to keep the website secure and to understand which pages are useful;
• to send occasional B2B updates when you have asked for them or where we have a legitimate interest in doing so.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use enquiry data to build advertising profiles.

4. Legal bases for processing

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on: processing at your request before entering a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) for enquiries, quotations and samples; performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)) for orders, shipping, tax and export records; our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) for B2B relationship management, site security and business development; and consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) where consent is required, for example for optional analytics or marketing to individuals in certain jurisdictions. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.

5. Cookies and analytics

The website uses only the cookies and local storage needed for it to function - for example remembering interface preferences. We do not run advertising cookies or cross-site behavioural tracking pixels on this site. Server logs are used in aggregate to keep the site secure and fast. If we introduce optional analytics in future, we will update this policy and request consent where it is required.

6. Sharing information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed with:

• freight forwarders, couriers and customs brokers, to deliver orders;
• banks and payment providers, to process payments;
• IT, hosting and email service providers that operate our systems under contract;
• professional advisers such as legal and accounting firms, where necessary;
• regulators, courts or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

Service providers act on our instructions and are required to protect the information they handle for us.

7. International transfers

Our head office and export coordination are in Guangzhou, China: Building 5, Baiyun Financial Holdings Intelligent Connected Vehicle Industrial Park, No. 66-4 Zhihong Road, Jianggao Town, Baiyun District, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. If you contact us from the EEA, the UK, Switzerland or another region with transfer restrictions, your information is transferred to China on the basis of contractual necessity, and we put standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard in place with our service providers where required.

8. How long we keep information

• Enquiry and quotation records: normally 24 months from the last contact.
• Customer, order, tax and export records: as required by applicable Chinese accounting and export rules - generally not less than five years.
• Server logs: kept for short periods for security and troubleshooting.

Records are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer needed.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), restricted internal permissions and routine backups. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive commercial information by unencrypted email unless an NDA is in place.

10. Your rights

Subject to applicable law you may request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and request a portable copy of the information you provided. You may also ask us to stop sending marketing communications at any time. Write to info@bottking.com and we will respond within one month. If you are in the EEA or the UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. Business contacts and marketing

We contact business contacts about quotations, orders, technical changes and occasional product or material updates. You can opt out of marketing at any time through the unsubscribe link in the message or by replying "unsubscribe". Transactional correspondence about an active order is not affected.

12. Children

The website and our services are intended for business users and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

13. Third-party links

Some pages link to other websites, including logistics and industry resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our process or in the law. The "last updated" date above always shows the current version, and material changes are summarised on this page.
