What are pump bottles?
Pumps are specified by output per stroke and by stroke style (down-lock, up-lock, clip-lock). A 1.0 ml output suits face products; 1.5–2.0 ml suits body products. Airless pump bottles add protection for sensitive actives and improve dose consistency to the last drop.
Tube length, sagger or anti-suck-back valves and actuator design all affect how the pack behaves over hundreds of strokes, so we test the assembled bottle and pump together rather than quoting them independently.

Pumps are tested gravimetrically for ml per stroke, with typical tolerance of ±10% across the stroke life.
Prepared for airless
Bottle and pump necks are cross-compatible within a mould family, so a brand can move from a lotion pump to an airless assembly without retooling the body.

Anti-drip actuators and precision nozzle geometry keep the bottle rim clean, which is a common cause of consumer complaints.

How these are manufactured
Parts are moulded by injection, injection blow or extrusion blow moulding depending on the format and material, then assembled, decorated and inspected in lots. Moulding parameters are recorded per mould so repeat orders match the approved sample. Read the manufacturing process.
Quality control
Dimension and weight checks, closure torque, leak and dose testing where relevant, colour verification (ΔE ≤ 1.5 opaque parts) and AQL 1.0/2.5 final inspection. Lot records are supplied with the shipping documents. See the inspection checklist.

What output should I choose for a face serum pump?
0.20–0.30 ml per stroke suits face serums and treatment fluids; 0.5–1.0 ml suits moisturisers; 1.0–2.0 ml suits body products. Output is fixed by the pump engine, so choose it with the fill volume in mind.
Are pumps compatible with oil-based formulas?
Yes, with the right gasket and tube material. Nitrile, silicone and EPDM gaskets have different oil and solvent resistance, so we match the gasket to the formula and run a soak test.
Can a pump bottle be refilled?
Yes. Refill routes include screw-off pump heads on a refill bottle, or a reusable outer shell with a cartridge inside. Where refilling is planned, we specify a pump head designed for repeated remounting.
What is the lead time for pump bottle orders?
Stock samples in 5–10 working days; custom colour and decorated samples in 10–20 working days. 15–30 working days after sample approval, depending on quantity, decoration and assembly complexity.
What is the MOQ for pump bottles?
1,000 pcs per design for stock moulds; 3,000 pcs for decorated orders; 10,000 pcs per size for custom moulds.
Can I customise the colour?
Yes. Colour is matched to a Pantone reference or a physical sample and verified on production-resin parts. Custom colour matching (Pantone or approved physical sample) is the standard route, and we supply samples for approval before the run.
Can you print or emboss my logo?
Yes — printing, hot stamping, coating, labelling and custom closures are all available for pump bottles. Choose the method with your surface finish in mind: gloss print or foil works best on matte and soft-touch surfaces.
Can I request samples?
Stock samples in 5–10 working days; custom colour and decorated samples in 10–20 working days. Stock samples are supplied free (up to five pieces per SKU, courier at your cost); custom colour and decorated samples are quoted per project, typically USD 120–450.
Can you develop a custom mould?
Yes. Custom tooling is quoted as a separate line item with the cavity plan stated, usually from around 10,000 pcs per size and 25–40 calendar days from drawing approval to first-article inspection.
What is the production lead time?
15–30 working days after sample approval, depending on quantity, decoration and assembly complexity.
Do you ship internationally?
